Welcome

I've been on a bit of a blogging hiatus since discovering Facebook. After a few months of obsessive Scramble and Word Twist playing, I started to want, well, a little more. I rediscovered the hopefulness, empowerment and connection that comes from simply reading other people's blogs.

As an English-teaching-in-the-making, it really helps me to hear what practicing English teachers, poets, and thinkers are doing and reflecting on. Mentors and sages surround me.

But relationships are reciprocal and I've come to realize that if I want to truly network and connect, I have to add my voice, no matter how squeaky new it may be.
